Talk for Change supports HeadsUp Campaign

Talk for Change supports the new HeadsUp Campaign for mens mental health in Milton Keynes and Bedfordshire.

HeadsUp is a new campaign to help men who are suffering with mental health issues.

Men are less likely to seek help with mental health issues and tend to 'suffer in silence'. The campaign is designed to offer men a source of information and guidance about any mental health issues they may be facing, communicated in a style to which they can relate.

Lee Eastbury, a former service user and now Administrator at Talk for Change said "Staying silent was what allowed my anxiety and depression to amplify. Since accessing talking therapies and speaking openly about my mental health, I have been able to learn better coping mechanisms and move forward in life."
