Talk for Change reviews gender in self-referral form

Talk for Change is updating its online self-referral form to allow transgender and non-binary people to self-identify.

This update has been prompted by feedback from our service users.

More than half of the transgender community in Britain (55%) report they have been diagnosed with depression, according to the Trans Mental Health Survey of 2012.

Jake Thorpe from Talk for Change said “we hope this small change will encourage more transgender and non-binary people to access Talk for Change. We have a duty to make sure our services are open and inclusive for all of our diverse communities in Milton Keynes”.
