Urgent Help & Support

YOU ARE NOT ALONE AND IT IS OKAY TO ASK FOR HELP.

If this is the first time you need help for a mental health crisis

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis for the first time you should contact your General Practitioner (GP) in the first instance.

Your GP will be able to provide you with advice and a referral to mental health services.

If your GP practice is closed then call NHS 111.

If you already use Mental Health Services

If you already use mental health services then you should contact the team you usually see during office hours.

Outside of office hours you should call the Urgent Advice Line on 0800 0234 650.

The Urgent Advice Line provides out of hours urgent advice and support to people living in Milton Keynes.

In an emergency

The Samaritans are there 24 hours a day, every day, to listen. You can call them on 116 123 any time if you need somebody to talk to.

In an emergency, call 999 or go to Accident & Emergency (A&E).
