Talk for Change is a first point of contact for people wishing to access psychological therapies in Milton Keynes. It is a joint project run by NHS Milton Keynes IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) and Mind BLMK Counselling service for people with a GP in Milton Keynes.
The IAPT service provides interventions which include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). CBT is a talking therapy that can be very successful in helping you manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave. Mind BLMK provides a Counselling Service for a wide range of issues, ranging from life crisis to depression.
We want to provide quick access to assessment for people who think they would benefit from a talking therapy. We don’t believe accessing talking therapies should be difficult.
All you need to do is give us a few details about yourself and we will be in touch, usually by phone, to arrange an assessment and make sure you get the right support.
It’s as simple as that, so just scroll down and click on the "Begin" button to get started! You can also download a conventional form for completion off-line by clicking here to download a .PDF of the form.
Please note: Some of the services provided by Talk for Change may require you to pay a contribution. You will be informed of any costs before you use our service.
